As though this was not bad enough, the first thing I saw in the newspapers this morning was this. And, I am too shocked and disturbed even to fathom what my feelings are.
Two-and-a-half-year-old, dammit! How could anyone even think of harming someone in such a ruthless manner? I am not saying that if it were someone older the act can be condoned. But on a two-year-old it is even worse. If ever any of these criminals are arrested, they should first be castrated and then hanged to death - even if some (including the Chief Justice) believe that capital punishment should be banned, I don't think anyone who can rape and murder a 6-year-old and a 2-year-old deserves any clemency!
