Summer sets in early in Hyderabad, almost end of February. And by March usually temperatures are soaring in late 30s. That was the case this year as well, and one resigned oneself to a scorching hot summer ahead. Nature, of course, had other things on mind. For the last two weeks, rain god and clouds have been playing hide-and-seek in Hyderabad rather unusually. The mornings have been hot, but by about afternoon the weather starts to turn: the skies are overcast, what starts off as a slight breeze wafting through turns into winds, lightening lights up the skies and it starts to rain. The winds have been playing havoc, of course, including at my place where the window panes broke. One, however, wasn't really complaining. This weather was definitely more welcome than the hot and dry Hyderabadi summer one was used to.
The weather would start to play mischief while one was at work, so one cannot say that one enjoyed it the way one likes to. One however did manage to get some pictures. On the mobile phone, but pictures nevertheless. The quality, of course, is abysmal, but here they are all the same.
Update: By the time this post went live, things had gone back to being normal - hot, hot and dry summer, typical of Hyderabad.
