Scorching sun and the sunset

We have been having a typical Hyderabadi summer - hot, dry with mercury soaring above 42 degrees Celsius, especially in the last one week, and the roads wearing a desolate look as people preferred to stay indoors. All this even before the advent of Rohini Karte, said to be the hottest fortnight of the season. Sunday, however, brought the much needed respite. By about 2 in the afternoon, the weather gods decided to do a favour on the despairing Hyderabadis - overcast skies, winds, thunder and lightening, and finally a sudden shower - for a few hours at least mercury was brought under control.

One couldn't miss such an opportunity such as this - fully loaded, one made one's way to the terrace. And this is what one captured. Remember one always said there was something about sunrises and sunsets!
